Our friend Max Erbe has just opened a pop-up Bargain Book Shop on Immanuelkirchstrasse 33 in Prenzlauerberg for December only. The Guardian in the UK just published its on-line city guide to Berlin. While some of the choices seem kind of obvious or random, there is some good stuff and fun multimedia. We especially enjoyed Thomas Höpker‘s photos from the GDR (including the genius one above of toilet time at a Kita) and the guide to weekend brunch by our very own Luisa Weiss.
