About Us

Berlin Stories for NPR is a multimedia journal about the city broadcast on NPR Worldwide (104.1FM Berlin) and online all the time at berlinstories.org. Follow us on twitter @BerlinStoriesFM

Berlin Stories was created by Novelist Anna Winger in 2008. We have since recorded more than 100 Berlin Stories Originals for the radio, short personal pieces about the city that are read aloud by the author.

Coming soon: an hour-long, Berlin-based magazine show hosted by Journalist Gisela Williams and Anna Winger. They can be reached at anna@berlinstories.org and gisela@berlinstories.org

The Executive Producer of Berlin Stories for NPR is Karen Roth. She can be reached at: karen@berlinstories.org

The editors of past seasons of Berlin Stories Originals (still in rotation on the air and in our archive) are Ralph Martin and Anya Kinneavy. Berlin Stories Originals are currently edited by Victoria Gosling. To submit a story, please email her a pitch at victoria@berlinstories.org

Our first special series, The Detroit-Berlin Connection, was created by features reporter Martina Guzman and produced in collaboration with WDET in Detroit and The German Marshall Fund.

And our fabulous logo was created by Christoph Niemann.
