Becky Crook is a writer, editor, freelance translator, and creative consultant from Seattle who has lived in Berlin since 2008. Her poetry and creative essays have been published among others in Geez, The Other Journal, and in two anthologies. In May 2010, she co-founded SAND, Berlin’s English Literary Journal, and now works as editor-in-chief for the biannual publication. She lives in Berlin, where she currently divides her time among outdoor pursuits, food & family, ukulele playing, and writing her first novel.
